About the Team

Byte Force Robotics, formed in 2024, is a FIRST Robotics Competition team made up of high school students from across Wake County, supported by dedicated coaches and mentors. In just one year, the team grew from 6 to 14 students, representing multiple schools and building a strong, collaborative foundation. During the summer, students focused on developing skills in engineering, coding, and teamwork to prepare for the competition season. During the season, those skills were put to the test. Students worked through design challenges, tight deadlines, and real-time problem solving in a competitive environment.

The result: Byte Force qualified for the State Championship in its second year.

Byte Force is building the next generation of engineers, problem-solvers, and leaders right here in our community.

Mentors

Byte Force is supported by a dedicated group of mentors and coaches who guide students in engineering, programming, strategy, and teamwork. Their role goes beyond technical support. Mentors help students solve problems, stay accountable, and work effectively as a team in a competitive environment. As Byte Force grows, we are always looking for additional mentors who want to contribute their time and experience.
